1. وَيْلٌ لِكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُمَزَةٍ
104|1|Malheur à tout calomniateur diffamateur,
2. الَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُ
104|2|qui amasse une fortune et la compte,
3. يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُ أَخْلَدَهُ
104|3|pensant que sa fortune l'immortalisera.
4. كَلَّا لَيُنْبَذَنَّ فِي الْحُطَمَةِ
104|4|Mais non! Il sera certes, jeté dans la Hutamah.
5. وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْحُطَمَةُ
104|5|Et qui te dira ce qu'est la Hutamah?
6. نَارُ اللَّهِ الْمُوقَدَةُ
104|6|Le Feu attisé d'Allah
7. الَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى الْأَفْئِدَةِ
104|7|qui monte jusqu'aux cœurs.
8. إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِمْ مُؤْصَدَةٌ
104|8|Il se refermera sur eux,
9. فِي عَمَدٍ مُمَدَّدَةٍ
