1. اقْتَرَبَ لِلنَّاسِ حِسَابُهُمْ وَهُمْ فِي غَفْلَةٍ مُعْرِضُونَ
21|1|[L'échéance] du règlement de leur compte approche pour les hommes, alors que dans leur insouciance ils s'en détournent.
2. مَا يَأْتِيهِمْ مِنْ ذِكْرٍ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ مُحْدَثٍ إِلَّا اسْتَمَعُوهُ وَهُمْ يَلْعَبُونَ
21|2|Aucun rappel [de révélation] récente ne leur vient de leur Seigneur, sans qu'ils ne l'entendent en s'amusant,
3. لَاهِيَةً قُلُوبُهُمْ وَأَسَرُّوا النَّجْوَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا هَلْ هَذَا إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِثْلُكُمْ أَفَتَأْتُونَ السِّحْرَ وَأَنْتُمْ تُبْصِرُونَ
21|3|leurs cœurs distraits; et les injustes tiennent des conversations secrètes et disent: «Ce n'est là qu'un être humain semblable à vous? Allez-vous donc vous adonner à la magie alors que vous voyez clair?»
4. قَالَ رَبِّي يَعْلَمُ الْقَوْلَ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
21|4|Il a répondu: «Mon Seigneur sait tout ce qui se dit au ciel et sur la terre; et Il est l'Audient, l'Omniscient».
5. بَلْ قَالُوا أَضْغَاثُ أَحْلَامٍ بَلِ افْتَرَاهُ بَلْ هُوَ شَاعِرٌ فَلْيَأْتِنَا بِآيَةٍ كَمَا أُرْسِلَ الْأَوَّلُونَ
21|5|Mais ils dirent: «Voilà plutôt un amas de rêves! Ou bien Il l'a inventé. Ou, c'est plutôt un poète. Qu'il nous apporte donc un signe [identique] à celui dont furent chargés les premiers envoyés».
6. مَا آمَنَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَاهَا أَفَهُمْ يُؤْمِنُونَ
21|6|Pas une seule cité parmi celles que Nous avons fait périr avant eux n'avait cru [à la vue des miracles]. Ceux-ci croiront-ils donc?
7. وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ إِلَّا رِجَالًا نُوحِي إِلَيْهِمْ فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
21|7|Nous n'avons envoyé avant toi que des hommes à qui Nous faisions des révélations. Demandez donc aux érudits du Livre, si vous ne savez pas.
8. وَمَا جَعَلْنَاهُمْ جَسَدًا لَا يَأْكُلُونَ الطَّعَامَ وَمَا كَانُوا خَالِدِينَ
21|8|Et Nous n'en n'avons pas fait des corps qui ne consommaient pas de nourriture. Et ils n'étaient pas éternels.
9. ثُمَّ صَدَقْنَاهُمُ الْوَعْدَ فَأَنْجَيْنَاهُمْ وَمَنْ نَشَاءُ وَأَهْلَكْنَا الْمُسْرِفِينَ
21|9|Puis Nous réalisâmes la promesse (qui leur avait été faite). Nous les sauvâmes avec ceux que Nous voulûmes [sauver]. Et Nous fîmes périr les outranciers.
10. لَقَدْ أَنْزَلْنَا إِلَيْكُمْ كِتَابًا فِيهِ ذِكْرُكُمْ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
21|10|Nous avons assurément fait descendre vers vous un livre où se trouve votre rappel [ou votre renom]. Ne comprenez-vous donc pas?
11. وَكَمْ قَصَمْنَا مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ كَانَتْ ظَالِمَةً وَأَنْشَأْنَا بَعْدَهَا قَوْمًا آخَرِينَ
21|11|Et que de cités qui ont commis des injustices, Nous avons brisées; et Nous avons créé d'autres peuples après eux.
12. فَلَمَّا أَحَسُّوا بَأْسَنَا إِذَا هُمْ مِنْهَا يَرْكُضُونَ
21|12|Quand [ces gens] sentirent Notre rigueur ils s'en enfuirent hâtivement.
13. لَا تَرْكُضُوا وَارْجِعُوا إِلَى مَا أُتْرِفْتُمْ فِيهِ وَمَسَاكِنِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُسْأَلُونَ
21|13|Ne galopez point. Retournez plutôt au grand luxe où vous étiez et dans vos demeures, afin que vous soyez interrogés.
14. قَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ
21|14|Ils dirent: «Malheur à nous! Nous étions vraiment injustes».
15. فَمَا زَالَتْ تِلْكَ دَعْوَاهُمْ حَتَّى جَعَلْنَاهُمْ حَصِيدًا خَامِدِينَ
21|15|Telle ne cessa d'être leur lamentation jusqu'à ce que Nous les eûmes moissonnés et éteints.
16. وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاءَ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا لَاعِبِينَ
21|16|Ce n'est pas par jeu que Nous avons créé le ciel et la terre et ce qui est entre eux.
17. لَوْ أَرَدْنَا أَنْ نَتَّخِذَ لَهْوًا لَاتَّخَذْنَاهُ مِنْ لَدُنَّا إِنْ كُنَّا فَاعِلِينَ
21|17|Si Nous avions voulu prendre une distraction, Nous l'aurions prise de Nous-mêmes, si vraiment Nous avions voulu le faire.
18. بَلْ نَقْذِفُ بِالْحَقِّ عَلَى الْبَاطِلِ فَيَدْمَغُهُ فَإِذَا هُوَ زَاهِقٌ وَلَكُمُ الْوَيْلُ مِمَّا تَصِفُونَ
21|18|Bien au contraire, Nous lançons contre le faux la vérité qui le subjugue, et le voilà qui disparaît. Et malheur à vous pour ce que vous attribuez [injustement à Allah].
19. وَلَهُ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ عِنْدَهُ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِهِ وَلَا يَسْتَحْسِرُونَ
21|19|A Lui seul appartiennent tous ceux qui sont dans les cieux et sur la terre. Ceux qui sont auprès de Lui [les Anges] ne se considèrent point trop grands pour L'adorer et ne s'en lassent pas.
20. يُسَبِّحُونَ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ لَا يَفْتُرُونَ
21|20|Ils exaltent Sa Gloire nuit et jour et ne s'interrompent point.
21. أَمِ اتَّخَذُوا آلِهَةً مِنَ الْأَرْضِ هُمْ يُنْشِرُونَ
21|21|Ont-ils pris des divinités qui peuvent ressusciter (les morts) de la terre?
22. لَوْ كَانَ فِيهِمَا آلِهَةٌ إِلَّا اللَّهُ لَفَسَدَتَا فَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
21|22|S'il y avait dans le ciel et la terre des divinités autres qu'Allah, tous deux seraient certes dans le désordre. Gloire, donc à Allah, Seigneur du Trône; Il est au-dessus de ce qu'ils Lui attribuent!
23. لَا يُسْأَلُ عَمَّا يَفْعَلُ وَهُمْ يُسْأَلُونَ
21|23|Il n'est pas interrogé sur ce qu'Il fait, mais ce sont eux qui devront rendre compte [de leurs actes].
24. أَمِ اتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِهِ آلِهَةً قُلْ هَاتُوا بُرْهَانَكُمْ هَذَا ذِكْرُ مَنْ مَعِيَ وَذِكْرُ مَنْ قَبْلِي بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ الْحَقَّ فَهُمْ مُعْرِضُونَ
21|24|Ont-ils pris des divinités en dehors de Lui? Dis: «Apportez votre preuve». Ceci est la révélation de ceux qui sont avec moi et de ceux qui étaient avant moi. Mais la plupart d'entre eux ne connaissent pas la vérité et s'en écartent.
25. وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ مِنْ رَسُولٍ إِلَّا نُوحِي إِلَيْهِ أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنَا فَاعْبُدُونِ
21|25|Et Nous n'avons envoyé avant toi aucun Messager à qui Nous n'ayons révélé: «Point de divinité en dehors de Moi. Adorez-Moi donc».
26. وَقَالُوا اتَّخَذَ الرَّحْمَنُ وَلَدًا سُبْحَانَهُ بَلْ عِبَادٌ مُكْرَمُونَ
21|26|Et ils dirent: «Le Tout Miséricordieux s'est donné un enfant». Pureté à Lui! Mais ce sont plutôt des serviteurs honorés.
27. لَا يَسْبِقُونَهُ بِالْقَوْلِ وَهُمْ بِأَمْرِهِ يَعْمَلُونَ
21|27|Ils ne devancent pas Son Commandement et agissent selon Ses ordres.
28. يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلَا يَشْفَعُونَ إِلَّا لِمَنِ ارْتَضَى وَهُمْ مِنْ خَشْيَتِهِ مُشْفِقُونَ
21|28|Il sait ce qui est devant eux et ce qui derrière eux. Et ils n'intercèdent qu'en faveur de ceux qu'Il a agréés [tout en étant] pénétrés de Sa crainte.
29. وَمَنْ يَقُلْ مِنْهُمْ إِنِّي إِلَهٌ مِنْ دُونِهِ فَذَلِكَ نَجْزِيهِ جَهَنَّمَ كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الظَّالِمِينَ
21|29|Et quiconque d'entre eux dirait: «Je suis une divinité en dehors de Lui». Nous le rétribuerons de l'Enfer. C'est ainsi que Nous rétribuons les injustes.
30. أَوَلَمْ يَرَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَنَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ كَانَتَا رَتْقًا فَفَتَقْنَاهُمَا وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمَاءِ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ حَيٍّ أَفَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
21|30|Ceux qui ont mécru, n'ont-ils pas vu que les cieux et la terre formaient une masse compacte? Ensuite Nous les avons séparés et fait de l'eau toute chose vivante. Ne croiront-ils donc pas?
31. وَجَعَلْنَا فِي الْأَرْضِ رَوَاسِيَ أَنْ تَمِيدَ بِهِمْ وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا فِجَاجًا سُبُلًا لَعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ
21|31|Et Nous avons placé des montagnes fermes dans la terre, afin qu'elle ne s'ébranle pas en les [entraînant]. Et Nous y avons placé des défilés servant de chemins afin qu'ils se guident.
32. وَجَعَلْنَا السَّمَاءَ سَقْفًا مَحْفُوظًا وَهُمْ عَنْ آيَاتِهَا مُعْرِضُونَ
21|32|Et Nous avons fait du ciel un toit protégé. Et cependant ils se détournent de ses merveilles.
33. وَهُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ فِي فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ
21|33|Et c'est Lui qui a créé la nuit et le jour, le soleil et la lune; chacun voguant dans une orbite.
34. وَمَا جَعَلْنَا لِبَشَرٍ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ الْخُلْدَ أَفَإِنْ مِتَّ فَهُمُ الْخَالِدُونَ
21|34|Et Nous n'avons attribué l'immortalité à nul homme avant toi. Est-ce que si tu meurs, toi, ils seront, eux, éternels?
35. كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ وَنَبْلُوكُمْ بِالشَّرِّ وَالْخَيْرِ فِتْنَةً وَإِلَيْنَا تُرْجَعُونَ
21|35|Toute âme doit goûter la mort. Nous vous éprouverons par le mal et par le bien [à titre] de tentation. Et c'est à Nous que vous serez ramenés.
36. وَإِذَا رَآكَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِنْ يَتَّخِذُونَكَ إِلَّا هُزُوًا أَهَذَا الَّذِي يَذْكُرُ آلِهَتَكُمْ وَهُمْ بِذِكْرِ الرَّحْمَنِ هُمْ كَافِرُونَ
21|36|Quand les mécréants te voient, ils ne te prennent qu'en dérision (disant): «Quoi! Est-ce-là celui qui médit de vos divinités?» Et ils nient [tout] rappel du Tout Miséricordieux.
37. خُلِقَ الْإِنْسَانُ مِنْ عَجَلٍ سَأُرِيكُمْ آيَاتِي فَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلُونِ
21|37|L'homme a été créé prompt dans sa nature. Je vous montrerai Mes signes [la réalisation de Mes menaces]. Ne me hâtez donc pas.
38. وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَى هَذَا الْوَعْدُ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
21|38|Et ils disent: «A quand cette promesse si vous êtes véridiques?»
39. لَوْ يَعْلَمُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا حِينَ لَا يَكُفُّونَ عَنْ وُجُوهِهِمُ النَّارَ وَلَا عَنْ ظُهُورِهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنْصَرُونَ
21|39|Si [seulement] les mécréants connaissaient le moment où ils ne pourront empêcher le feu de leurs visages ni de leurs dos, et où ils ne seront point secourus.
40. بَلْ تَأْتِيهِمْ بَغْتَةً فَتَبْهَتُهُمْ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ رَدَّهَا وَلَا هُمْ يُنْظَرُونَ
21|40|Mais non, cela leur viendra subitement et ils seront alors stupéfaits; ils ne pourront pas le repousser et on ne leur donnera pas de répit.
41. وَلَقَدِ اسْتُهْزِئَ بِرُسُلٍ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ فَحَاقَ بِالَّذِينَ سَخِرُوا مِنْهُمْ مَا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ
21|41|On s'est moqué de messagers venus avant toi. Et ceux qui se sont moqués d'eux, se virent frapper de toutes parts par l'objet même de leurs moqueries.
42. قُلْ مَنْ يَكْلَؤُكُمْ بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ مِنَ الرَّحْمَنِ بَلْ هُمْ عَنْ ذِكْرِ رَبِّهِمْ مُعْرِضُونَ
21|42|Dis: «Qui vous protège la nuit et le jour, contre le [châtiment] du Tout Miséricordieux?» Pourtant ils se détournent du rappel de leur Seigneur.
43. أَمْ لَهُمْ آلِهَةٌ تَمْنَعُهُمْ مِنْ دُونِنَا لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَ أَنْفُسِهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ مِنَّا يُصْحَبُونَ
21|43|Ont-ils donc des divinités en dehors de Nous, qui peuvent les protéger? Mais celles-ci ne peuvent ni se secourir elles-mêmes, ni se faire assister contre Nous.
44. بَلْ مَتَّعْنَا هَؤُلَاءِ وَآبَاءَهُمْ حَتَّى طَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْعُمُرُ أَفَلَا يَرَوْنَ أَنَّا نَأْتِي الْأَرْضَ نَنْقُصُهَا مِنْ أَطْرَافِهَا أَفَهُمُ الْغَالِبُونَ
21|44|Au contraire Nous avons accordé une jouissance [temporaire] à ceux-là comme à leurs ancêtres jusqu'à un âge avancé. Ne voient-ils pas que Nous venons à la terre que Nous réduisons de tous côtés? Seront-ils alors les vainqueurs?
45. قُلْ إِنَّمَا أُنْذِرُكُمْ بِالْوَحْيِ وَلَا يَسْمَعُ الصُّمُّ الدُّعَاءَ إِذَا مَا يُنْذَرُونَ
21|45|Dis: «Je vous avertis par ce qui m'est révélé». Les sourds, cependant, n'entendent pas l'appel quand on les avertit.
46. وَلَئِنْ مَسَّتْهُمْ نَفْحَةٌ مِنْ عَذَابِ رَبِّكَ لَيَقُولُنَّ يَا وَيْلَنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ
21|46|Si un souffle du châtiment de ton Seigneur les effleurait, ils diraient alors: «Malheur à nous! Nous étions vraiment injustes».
47. وَنَضَعُ الْمَوَازِينَ الْقِسْطَ لِيَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ فَلَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْئًا وَإِنْ كَانَ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِنْ خَرْدَلٍ أَتَيْنَا بِهَا وَكَفَى بِنَا حَاسِبِينَ
21|47|Au Jour de la Résurrection, Nous placerons les balances exactes. Nulle âme ne sera lésée en rien, fût-ce du poids d'un grain de moutarde que Nous ferons venir. Nous suffisons largement pour dresser les comptes.
48. وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى وَهَارُونَ الْفُرْقَانَ وَضِيَاءً وَذِكْرًا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
21|48|Nous avons déjà apporté à Moïse et Aaron le Livre du discernement (la Thora) ainsi qu'une lumière et un rappel pour les gens pieux,
49. الَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ بِالْغَيْبِ وَهُمْ مِنَ السَّاعَةِ مُشْفِقُونَ
21|49|qui craignent leur Seigneur malgré qu'ils ne Le voient pas, et redoutent l'Heure (la fin du monde).
50. وَهَذَا ذِكْرٌ مُبَارَكٌ أَنْزَلْنَاهُ أَفَأَنْتُمْ لَهُ مُنْكِرُونَ
21|50|Et ceci [le Coran] est un rappel béni que Nous avons fait descendre. Allez-vous donc le renier?
51. وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ رُشْدَهُ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَكُنَّا بِهِ عَالِمِينَ
21|51|En effet, Nous avons mis auparavant Abraham sur le droit chemin. Et Nous en avions bonne connaissance.
52. إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِ مَا هَذِهِ التَّمَاثِيلُ الَّتِي أَنْتُمْ لَهَا عَاكِفُونَ
21|52|Quand il dit à son père et à son peuple: «Que sont ces statues auxquelles vous vous attachez?»
53. قَالُوا وَجَدْنَا آبَاءَنَا لَهَا عَابِدِينَ
21|53|ils dirent: «Nous avons trouvé nos ancêtres les adorant».
54. قَالَ لَقَدْ كُنْتُمْ أَنْتُمْ وَآبَاؤُكُمْ فِي ضَلَالٍ مُبِينٍ
21|54|Il dit: «Certainement, vous avez été, vous et vos ancêtres, dans un égarement évident».
55. قَالُوا أَجِئْتَنَا بِالْحَقِّ أَمْ أَنْتَ مِنَ اللَّاعِبِينَ
21|55|Ils dirent: «Viens-tu à nous avec la vérité ou plaisantes-tu?»
56. قَالَ بَلْ رَبُّكُمْ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ الَّذِي فَطَرَهُنَّ وَأَنَا عَلَى ذَلِكُمْ مِنَ الشَّاهِدِينَ
21|56|Il dit: «Mais votre Seigneur est plutôt le Seigneur des cieux et de la terre, et c'est Lui qui les a créés. Et je suis un de ceux qui en témoignent.
57. وَتَاللَّهِ لَأَكِيدَنَّ أَصْنَامَكُمْ بَعْدَ أَنْ تُوَلُّوا مُدْبِرِينَ
21|57|Et par Allah! Je ruserai certes contre vos idoles une fois que vous serez partis».
58. فَجَعَلَهُمْ جُذَاذًا إِلَّا كَبِيرًا لَهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِ يَرْجِعُونَ
21|58|Il les mit en pièces, hormis [la statue] la plus grande. Peut-être qu'ils reviendraient vers elle.
59. قَالُوا مَنْ فَعَلَ هَذَا بِآلِهَتِنَا إِنَّهُ لَمِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
21|59|Ils dirent: «Qui a fait cela à nos divinités? Il est certes parmi les injustes».
60. قَالُوا سَمِعْنَا فَتًى يَذْكُرُهُمْ يُقَالُ لَهُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ
21|60|(Certains) dirent: «Nous avons entendu un jeune homme médire d'elles; il s'appelle Abraham».
61. قَالُوا فَأْتُوا بِهِ عَلَى أَعْيُنِ النَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَشْهَدُونَ
21|61|Ils dirent: «Amenez-le sous les yeux des gens afin qu'ils puissent témoigner.
62. قَالُوا أَأَنْتَ فَعَلْتَ هَذَا بِآلِهَتِنَا يَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ
21|62|(Alors) ils dirent: «Est-ce toi qui as fait cela à nos divinités, Abraham?»
63. قَالَ بَلْ فَعَلَهُ كَبِيرُهُمْ هَذَا فَاسْأَلُوهُمْ إِنْ كَانُوا يَنْطِقُونَ
21|63|Il dit: «C'est la plus grande d'entre elles que voici, qui l'a fait. Demandez-leur donc, si elles peuvent parler».
64. فَرَجَعُوا إِلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ فَقَالُوا إِنَّكُمْ أَنْتُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ
21|64|Se ravisant alors, ils se dirent entre eux: «C'est vous qui êtes les vrais injustes».
65. ثُمَّ نُكِسُوا عَلَى رُءُوسِهِمْ لَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَا هَؤُلَاءِ يَنْطِقُونَ
21|65|Puis ils firent volte-face et dirent: «Tu sais bien que celles-ci ne parlent pas».
66. قَالَ أَفَتَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنْفَعُكُمْ شَيْئًا وَلَا يَضُرُّكُمْ
21|66|Il dit: «Adorez-vous donc, en dehors d'Allah, ce qui ne saurait en rien vous être utile ni vous nuire non plus.
67. أُفٍّ لَكُمْ وَلِمَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
21|67|Fi de vous et de ce que vous adorez en dehors d'Allah! Ne raisonnez-vous pas?»
68. قَالُوا حَرِّقُوهُ وَانْصُرُوا آلِهَتَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ فَاعِلِينَ
21|68|Ils dirent: «Brûlez-le. Secourez vos divinités si vous voulez faire quelque chose (pour elles)».
69. قُلْنَا يَا نَارُ كُونِي بَرْدًا وَسَلَامًا عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ
21|69|Nous dîmes: «O feu, sois pour Abraham une fraîcheur salutaire».
70. وَأَرَادُوا بِهِ كَيْدًا فَجَعَلْنَاهُمُ الْأَخْسَرِينَ
21|70|Ils voulaient ruser contre lui, mais ce sont eux que Nous rendîmes les plus grands perdants.
71. وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَلُوطًا إِلَى الْأَرْضِ الَّتِي بَارَكْنَا فِيهَا لِلْعَالَمِينَ
21|71|Et Nous le sauvâmes, ainsi que Lot, vers une terre que Nous avions bénie pour tout l'univers.
72. وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُ إِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ نَافِلَةً وَكُلًّا جَعَلْنَا صَالِحِينَ
21|72|Et Nous lui donnâmes Isaac et, de surcroît Jacob, desquels Nous fîmes des gens de bien.
73. وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ أَئِمَّةً يَهْدُونَ بِأَمْرِنَا وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْهِمْ فِعْلَ الْخَيْرَاتِ وَإِقَامَ الصَّلَاةِ وَإِيتَاءَ الزَّكَاةِ وَكَانُوا لَنَا عَابِدِينَ
21|73|Nous les fîmes des dirigeants qui guidaient par Notre ordre. Et Nous leur révélâmes de faire le bien, d'accomplir la prière et d'acquitter la Zakât. Et ils étaient Nos adorateurs.
74. وَلُوطًا آتَيْنَاهُ حُكْمًا وَعِلْمًا وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْقَرْيَةِ الَّتِي كَانَتْ تَعْمَلُ الْخَبَائِثَ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمَ سَوْءٍ فَاسِقِينَ
21|74|Et Lot! Nous lui avons apporté la capacité de juger et le savoir, et Nous l'avons sauvé de la cité où se commettaient les vices; ces gens étaient vraiment des gens du mal, des pervers.
75. وَأَدْخَلْنَاهُ فِي رَحْمَتِنَا إِنَّهُ مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
21|75|et Nous l'avons fait entrer en Notre miséricorde. Il était vraiment du nombre des gens de bien.
76. وَنُوحًا إِذْ نَادَى مِنْ قَبْلُ فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ فَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ
21|76|Et Noé, quand auparavant il fit son appel. Nous l'exauçâmes et Nous le sauvâmes, ainsi que sa famille, de la grande angoisse,
77. وَنَصَرْنَاهُ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمَ سَوْءٍ فَأَغْرَقْنَاهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
21|77|et Nous le secourûmes contre le peuple qui traitait Nos prodiges de mensonges. Ils furent vraiment des gens du Mal. Nous les noyâmes donc tous.
78. وَدَاوُودَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ إِذْ يَحْكُمَانِ فِي الْحَرْثِ إِذْ نَفَشَتْ فِيهِ غَنَمُ الْقَوْمِ وَكُنَّا لِحُكْمِهِمْ شَاهِدِينَ
21|78|Et David, et Salomon, quand ils eurent à juger au sujet d'un champ cultivé où des moutons appartenant à une peuplade étaient allés paître, la nuit. Et Nous étions témoin de leur jugement.
79. فَفَهَّمْنَاهَا سُلَيْمَانَ وَكُلًّا آتَيْنَا حُكْمًا وَعِلْمًا وَسَخَّرْنَا مَعَ دَاوُودَ الْجِبَالَ يُسَبِّحْنَ وَالطَّيْرَ وَكُنَّا فَاعِلِينَ
21|79|Nous la fîmes comprendre à Salomon. Et à chacun Nous donnâmes la faculté de juger et le savoir. Et Nous asservîmes les montagnes à exalter Notre Gloire en compagnie de David, ainsi que les oiseaux. Et c'est Nous qui sommes le Faiseur.
80. وَعَلَّمْنَاهُ صَنْعَةَ لَبُوسٍ لَكُمْ لِتُحْصِنَكُمْ مِنْ بَأْسِكُمْ فَهَلْ أَنْتُمْ شَاكِرُونَ
21|80|Nous lui (David) apprîmes la fabrication des cottes de mailles afin qu'elles vous protègent contre vos violences mutuelles (la guerre). En êtes-vous donc reconnaissants?
81. وَلِسُلَيْمَانَ الرِّيحَ عَاصِفَةً تَجْرِي بِأَمْرِهِ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ الَّتِي بَارَكْنَا فِيهَا وَكُنَّا بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَالِمِينَ
21|81|Et (Nous avons soumis) à Salomon le vent impétueux qui, par son ordre, se dirigea vers la terre que Nous avions bénie. Et Nous sommes à même de tout savoir,
82. وَمِنَ الشَّيَاطِينِ مَنْ يَغُوصُونَ لَهُ وَيَعْمَلُونَ عَمَلًا دُونَ ذَلِكَ وَكُنَّا لَهُمْ حَافِظِينَ
21|82|et parmi les diables il en était qui plongeaient pour lui et faisaient d'autres travaux encore, et Nous les surveillions Nous-mêmes.
83. وَأَيُّوبَ إِذْ نَادَى رَبَّهُ أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
21|83|Et Job, quand il implora son Seigneur: «Le mal m'a touché. Mais Toi, tu es le plus miséricordieux des miséricordieux»!
84. فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ فَكَشَفْنَا مَا بِهِ مِنْ ضُرٍّ وَآتَيْنَاهُ أَهْلَهُ وَمِثْلَهُمْ مَعَهُمْ رَحْمَةً مِنْ عِنْدِنَا وَذِكْرَى لِلْعَابِدِينَ
21|84|Nous l'exauçâmes, enlevâmes le mal qu'il avait, lui rendîmes les siens et autant qu'eux avec eux, par miséricorde de Notre part et en tant que rappel aux adorateurs.
85. وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِدْرِيسَ وَذَا الْكِفْلِ كُلٌّ مِنَ الصَّابِرِينَ
21|85|Et Ismaël, Idris, et Dûl-Kifl! qui étaient tous endurants;
86. وَأَدْخَلْنَاهُمْ فِي رَحْمَتِنَا إِنَّهُمْ مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
21|86|que Nous fîmes entrer en Notre miséricorde car ils étaient vraiment du nombre des gens de bien.
87. وَذَا النُّونِ إِذْ ذَهَبَ مُغَاضِبًا فَظَنَّ أَنْ لَنْ نَقْدِرَ عَلَيْهِ فَنَادَى فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
21|87|Et Dû'n-Nûn (Jonas) quand il partit, irrité. Il pensa que Nous N'allions pas l'éprouver. Puis il fit, dans les ténèbres, l'appel que voici: «Pas de divinité à part Toi! Pureté à Toi! J'ai été vraiment du nombre des injustes».
88. فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْغَمِّ وَكَذَلِكَ نُنْجِي الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
21|88|Nous l'exauçâmes et le sauvâmes de son angoisse. Et c'est ainsi que Nous sauvons les croyants.
89. وَزَكَرِيَّا إِذْ نَادَى رَبَّهُ رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِي فَرْدًا وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْوَارِثِينَ
21|89|Et Zacharie, quand il implora son Seigneur: «Ne me laisse pas seul, Seigneur, alors que Tu es le meilleur des héritiers».
90. فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُ يَحْيَى وَأَصْلَحْنَا لَهُ زَوْجَهُ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْخَيْرَاتِ وَيَدْعُونَنَا رَغَبًا وَرَهَبًا وَكَانُوا لَنَا خَاشِعِينَ
21|90|Nous l'exauçâmes, lui donnâmes Yahya et guérîmes son épouse. Ils concouraient au bien et Nous invoquaient par amour et par crainte. Et ils étaient humbles devant Nous.
91. وَالَّتِي أَحْصَنَتْ فَرْجَهَا فَنَفَخْنَا فِيهَا مِنْ رُوحِنَا وَجَعَلْنَاهَا وَابْنَهَا آيَةً لِلْعَالَمِينَ
21|91|Et celle [la vierge Marie] qui avait préservé sa chasteté! Nous insufflâmes en elle un souffle (de vie) venant de Nous et fîmes d'elle ainsi que de son fils, un signe [miracle] pour l'univers.
92. إِنَّ هَذِهِ أُمَّتُكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَأَنَا رَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُونِ
21|92|Certes, cette communauté qui est la vôtre est une communauté unique, et Je suis votre Seigneur. Adorez-Moi donc.
93. وَتَقَطَّعُوا أَمْرَهُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ كُلٌّ إِلَيْنَا رَاجِعُونَ
21|93|Ils se sont divisés en sectes. Mais tous, retourneront à Nous.
94. فَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِنَ الصَّالِحَاتِ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلَا كُفْرَانَ لِسَعْيِهِ وَإِنَّا لَهُ كَاتِبُونَ
21|94|Quiconque fait de bonnes œuvres tout en étant croyant, on ne méconnaîtra pas son effort, et Nous le lui inscrivons [à son actif].
95. وَحَرَامٌ عَلَى قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَاهَا أَنَّهُمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ
21|95|Il est défendu [aux habitants] d'une cité que Nous avons fait périr de revenir [à la vie d'ici-bas]!
96. حَتَّى إِذَا فُتِحَتْ يَأْجُوجُ وَمَأْجُوجُ وَهُمْ مِنْ كُلِّ حَدَبٍ يَنْسِلُونَ
21|96|Jusqu'à ce que soient relâchés les Yâjûj et les Mâjûj et qu'ils se précipiteront de chaque hauteur;
97. وَاقْتَرَبَ الْوَعْدُ الْحَقُّ فَإِذَا هِيَ شَاخِصَةٌ أَبْصَارُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا قَدْ كُنَّا فِي غَفْلَةٍ مِنْ هَذَا بَلْ كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ
21|97|c'est alors que la vraie promesse s'approchera, tandis que les regards de ceux qui ont mécru se figent: «Malheur à nous! Nous y avons été inattentifs. Bien plus, nous étions des injustes».
98. إِنَّكُمْ وَمَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ حَصَبُ جَهَنَّمَ أَنْتُمْ لَهَا وَارِدُونَ
21|98|«Vous serez, vous et ce que vous adoriez en dehors d'Allah, le combustible de l'Enfer, vous vous y rendrez tous.
99. لَوْ كَانَ هَؤُلَاءِ آلِهَةً مَا وَرَدُوهَا وَكُلٌّ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ
21|99|Si ceux-là étaient vraiment des divinités, ils n'y entreraient pas; et tous y demeureront éternellement.
100. لَهُمْ فِيهَا زَفِيرٌ وَهُمْ فِيهَا لَا يَسْمَعُونَ
21|100|Ils y pousseront des gémissements, et n'y entendront rien.
101. إِنَّ الَّذِينَ سَبَقَتْ لَهُمْ مِنَّا الْحُسْنَى أُولَئِكَ عَنْهَا مُبْعَدُونَ
21|101|En seront écartés, ceux à qui étaient précédemment promises de belles récompenses de Notre part.
102. لَا يَسْمَعُونَ حَسِيسَهَا وَهُمْ فِي مَا اشْتَهَتْ أَنْفُسُهُمْ خَالِدُونَ
21|102|Ils n'entendront pas son sifflement et jouiront éternellement de ce que leurs âmes désirent.
103. لَا يَحْزُنُهُمُ الْفَزَعُ الْأَكْبَرُ وَتَتَلَقَّاهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ هَذَا يَوْمُكُمُ الَّذِي كُنْتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ
21|103|La grande terreur ne les affligera pas, et les Anges les accueilleront: «voici le jour qui vous a été promis».
104. يَوْمَ نَطْوِي السَّمَاءَ كَطَيِّ السِّجِلِّ لِلْكُتُبِ كَمَا بَدَأْنَا أَوَّلَ خَلْقٍ نُعِيدُهُ وَعْدًا عَلَيْنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا فَاعِلِينَ
21|104|Le jour où Nous plierons le ciel comme on plie le rouleau des livres. Tout comme Nous avons commencé la première création, ainsi Nous la répéterons; c'est une promesse qui Nous incombe et Nous l'accomplirons!
105. وَلَقَدْ كَتَبْنَا فِي الزَّبُورِ مِنْ بَعْدِ الذِّكْرِ أَنَّ الْأَرْضَ يَرِثُهَا عِبَادِيَ الصَّالِحُونَ
21|105|Et Nous avons certes écrit dans le Zabûr, après l'avoir mentionné (dans le Livre céleste), que la terre sera héritée par Mes bons serviteurs».
106. إِنَّ فِي هَذَا لَبَلَاغًا لِقَوْمٍ عَابِدِينَ
21|106|Il y a en cela [ces enseignements] une communication à un peuple d'adorateurs!
107. وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِلْعَالَمِينَ
21|107|Et Nous ne t'avons envoyé qu'en miséricorde pour l'univers.
108. قُلْ إِنَّمَا يُوحَى إِلَيَّ أَنَّمَا إِلَهُكُمْ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ فَهَلْ أَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ
21|108|Dis: «Voilà ce qui m'est révélé: Votre Dieu est un Dieu unique; Etes-vous Soumis?» [décidés à embrasser l'Islam]
109. فَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَقُلْ آذَنْتُكُمْ عَلَى سَوَاءٍ وَإِنْ أَدْرِي أَقَرِيبٌ أَمْ بَعِيدٌ مَا تُوعَدُونَ
21|109|Si ensuite ils se détournent dis alors: «Je vous ai avertis en toute équité; je ne sais si ce qui vous est promis est proche ou lointain.
110. إِنَّهُ يَعْلَمُ الْجَهْرَ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَكْتُمُونَ
21|110|Il connaît ce que vous dites à haute voix et ce que vous cachez.
111. وَإِنْ أَدْرِي لَعَلَّهُ فِتْنَةٌ لَكُمْ وَمَتَاعٌ إِلَى حِينٍ
21|111|Et je ne sais pas; ceci est peut-être une tentation pour vous et une jouissance pour un certain temps»!
112. قَالَ رَبِّ احْكُمْ بِالْحَقِّ وَرَبُّنَا الرَّحْمَنُ الْمُسْتَعَانُ عَلَى مَا تَصِفُونَ
21|112|Il dit: «Seigneur, juge en toute justice! Et Notre Seigneur le Tout Miséricordieux, c'est Lui dont le secours est imploré contre vos assertions».

I just have a few suggestions. For both the Quran plugin & the Bukhari plugin, it would be amazing if you would support linking directly to an ayah(verse) or a Hadith. That way it would be easy to place internal references on our sites.
Also if you could add more Qari such as Shaikh Abu Bakr Ash-Shatiree it would be great.

Hi brother, sorry it’s not my native language. I have a small trouble with the pluggin installed on wordpress. On page displaying all posts The pluggin is displayed under the image thumb. I mean I already have a thumb related to the post but pluggin is entirely displayed under the real one and before the excerpt. causing a break in the presentation. Yes this is normal for the mobile version. If you want to add the buttons, you have to edit the file /inc/quran_style.php and comment on the lines 14,15,16,18,60.
You will have an adaptation work for it to work properly on mobile.
If I removed them on mobile is that it was difficult to make it clear on mobile.

iF you want change the translator for urdu or english , you can choose the translate and download file . Just rename file for english « english.txt » for urdu « urdu.txt » and replace in your directory plugin.

i just want to say that your Plugin generates some js errors with my theme, is it possible the plugin loads some old jquery scripts? When i turn the plugin off it works all fine again. I have some other plugins working no problem but when i activate yours the errors accour. So maybe some others here have similar problems with it ?

One suggestion, the layout is fine for big screen, but on phone, the choose surah, choose language and mp3 player need to be on different lines and centered for it to show properly. As it is now, the mp3 player is far to the right and it breaks the screen.
